Hampton Fitness was founded on the idea that free weights aren't a "necessary evil" for fitness facilities; they're an essential part of the foundation of any gym. The people behind Hampton had years of experience in iron and steel manufacturing before entering the fitness industry with the launch of Hampton Fitness in 1996.
Hampton free weight products are sold through a large network of independent dealers all over the country. All products are manufactured in Hampton's own factories, so quality and consistency can be guaranteed. It's this strict attention to detail that sets Hampton products apart. Examples are adding comfortable ergonomic grips, using better materials like virgin rubber and bronze bushings, enhancing the cosmetic appearance of a product by using high-quality chrome or topping off every bar with a solid rubber end cap. That Hampton is continuing its tradition of innovation on a large scale can be seen in such product lines as Fusion™, Dura-Bell™, and Chrome Beauty Grip. If a change doesn't advance the art cosmetically or functionally, then they don't add it to their line.
